Single-use Technologies (SUT) in cell-based and vaccine manufacturing is growing as it provides increases in manufacturing economy, speed safety, and flexibility. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has demonstrated that SUT usually produce less environmental burden than does the conventional, durable manufacturing.
This presentation explores how SUT supports the UN Sustainability Development Goals, how plastic circularity could be applied to our own industry and steps taken by BPSA to ensure that solution sets are made available to our members.
